I will admit that I have very little in way of textual explaination for my latest method of coloring, as I am absolutely terrible at explaining such things, and am still figuring the whole thing out myself. Suffice to say, though, I have been starting off in rendering everything in a monochromatic scheme, and adding color overlays to it in order to achieve the effect I'm going for in terms of light and mood. Even if I can't explain it in a manner that makes sense, I'm hoping that at least posting a visual example of the steps I've been going through may help folks out, and maybe give them an insight into how I've been working in Photoshop CS3 as of late
You're very welcome! I'm so glad you find it useful.

Did you learn this on your own or was it part of Ben's class? Either way great process and of course, artwork. I should really post more of my recent work on Deviantart. You've inspired me.
This whole method is something I've started using all on my onesies to enable me to get the assignments for Ben done in a more timely manner ^-^ Thanks, Pat!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
